GPT Image 2.5 is the newest model in OpenAI's GPT Image family, released in September 2026 and available on BulkImagen from day one. It arrives in two variants, takes twice as many reference images as GPT Image 2, and — at the top resolution tier — actually costs fewer credits than its predecessor. GPT Image 2.5 is early access: the launch credit rate may be adjusted as upstream pricing settles. One thing it does not do is transparent backgrounds — for that, GPT Image 2 at 1K remains the only model on the platform.

GPT Image 2.5 results fill in as they finish. Mark the ones worth keeping, download the selection as a single ZIP, and re-send any prompt that missed on its own — a failed render refunds its credits automatically.
